Shalom! I’m Yifat Szarfer, delighted to join Tamim Academy as the new grade 2 Jewish Studies teacher. With eight enriching years of teaching experience, including the past six years nurturing young minds at Cheder Chabad, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the classroom.

Born and raised in Israel, my roots run deep in Judaism and Israeli culture. I recieved my undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, and then began my teaching career after moving to Toronto.

As a proud mother of six incredible children, I understand the importance of fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

I’m dedicated to making learning a joyous journey, infusing my lessons with art, music, and drama to captivate young hearts and minds.

I can’t wait to embark on this inspiring journey with my students at Tamim Academy!
