My name is Lea Wallach, and I am thrilled to be joining Tamim Academy as the JK teacher. Originally from Montreal, I have called Toronto home for the past five years, along with my husband and very active toddler.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Special Education from Touro University. Throughout my teaching journey, I have dedicated myself to working with children with special needs, focusing on teaching essential life skills, fostering effective communication, and facilitating academic growth. Additionally, I have had the pleasure of teaching toddler classes, where I embraced the wonders of play-based learning.

I am deeply committed to instilling a love for Judaism and a lifelong love for learning in the hearts and minds of the next generation. I am eagerly looking forward to the upcoming year and the opportunities it holds for growth, discovery, and meaningful connections.
