All Tamim Academy students wear a uniform, beginning in JK.
- Girls must wear skirts/dresses.
- Boys will wear Kippot and Tzitzit during Tefillot. Boys should bring these items from home, however Tamim does have extra at hand. Tamim also sells Kippot in the office for $10/Kippah.
Colours:
- White and navy blue. These should be solid, without pictures or lines. Shirts, pants, skirts, and dresses can be a mix and match of either colour.
- Orange and blue T-shirts and kippot with our school logo may be purchased from the school office for 10 dollars a piece, beginning on the first day of school.
Stores:
- Clothing items can be purchased at the Tamim Land’s End Uniform Store, where our school logo is embroidered on the clothing. The Tamim school number is 00192659.
- The uniform may be purchased from any company that sells white and navy blue clothing.
Miscellaneous:
- Girls may wear any colour leg covering (i.e. tights, socks, leggings).
Girls do not have to wear tights, socks, or leggings, however we do recommend wearing leggings or shorts under the skirts for girls who are active during recess. - Hair accessories, coats, and school bags are not part of the uniform.
- Shoes should be safe for the gym and easy for a child to maneuver independently. We recommend leaving a pair of indoor shoes at school during the winter.
